Holi Barstool Perforated

Gertrude Stein famously said, ‘A rose is a rose is a rose,’ suggesting that things are what they are. However, she also conveyed that we often attribute personal and universal emotions to a specific name. In the world of design, an object stands out for its aesthetics, shape, color, manageability, and functionality. Yet, only a chair possesses the unique ability to virtually disappear from our view when we use it. If we forget about it while sitting, it signifies exceptional comfort, gracefully supporting our body’s weight and allowing us to rest, work, or sit at a table for extended periods. Indeed, it fully meets our expectations of sitting. Whether at home, in a café, or at the office, we sit everywhere. The act of sitting is even more frequent than eating or drinking. We sit dozens of times a day without even consciously acknowledging this automatic yet fundamental action. In reality, only an uncomfortable seat is immediately felt and noticed as soon as we sit down. Holi is a chair designed to cradle your body at the right height, offering comfortable back support while maintaining a sleek, non-bulky profile. The collection provides a wide range of seating solutions, with or without armrests, and two different stool heights, all of which are stackable. Holi is available with either a closed or perforated backrest, creating a seamless stylistic connection between indoor and outdoor furniture to cater to various living space needs. The metallic structure is painted in the exact shade as the polypropylene shell, creating the impression of a unified, monolithic element. Color options include white, black, red terracotta, and olive-gray.
